Maine Weather, Where Change is the Only Constant!

In Maine, the weather can change week-to-week and sometimes moment-to-moment. Be prepared for beautiful, sunny days, but also rainstorms and even mist rolling in that can linger for a week. Depending on the eye of the beholder, each type of weather induces distinct moods—the exhilaration of a cloudless sky, the drama of a tempestuous storm, the introspective quality of a foggy day. Likewise, each month brings its own offerings: April with its mud, sunshine, and fresh breezes; May with its blackflies and blossoming trees; June with its fog banks and sunny breakthroughs; July's mosquitoes, warming, sun-and-rain-blended days, and ripe wild blackberries and raspberries; August's summer heat and abundance of wild blueberries; September's warm, drier air and cool nights; October's vanishing biting insects and explosion of fall colors. Any month can surprise you with a chilly night. And every month can enthrall you with beautiful sunsets and gorgeous night skies.
